- On Saturday the 18th of June State Representative Stephanie Kifowit is hosting a recycle and shred day at 1677 Montgomery Road. This will take place in the lot of her constituent service office, and will be held from 9 am to noon. This is a very helpful initiative and is in partnership with the Kane County Teachers Credit Union. See the flyer for details and don’t forget to follow Rep. Kifowit on Facebook to stay up to date on all activities.
- Saturday the 18th from 9 am to 1 pm our friends of Spartan Dads and other great businesses will host a day of activities for Dads and sons. Fishing, hiking and a whole lot more! This is free and open to all dads and sons. This will take place at Oakhurst Forest Preserve in Aurora. To RSVP you can do so here: https://www.spartan-dads.com/upcoming-events
- Thursday, June 16th from 6 to 8 pm our friends of The Neighbor Project have teamed up with the Hope Fair Housing Center to host a workshop titled: The Importance Of Fair Housing. This is to highlight National Homeownership Month and will take place at Everlasting Word Church, located at 22 N. Highland avenue in Aurora.
